Does a one word hyperlink constitute a wiki page? Tough call, perhaps if one were to add " WorkInProgress? " (if you planned on expanding it) it would be left to flower, bloom, and reach its ultimate potential. (as all good pages should)

On the other hand envision a free flowing WikiSlam? where, starting with one word a page is added to building up to a crescendo of ideas, words and images, all spontaneously delivered by TheCollective, ending up as (we hope) a tableaux of thoughts, a collage of consciousness,....the pinnacle of prose,..perhaps.

On a front note: nice to see people discussing and reasoning instead of saying Goodbye, much more civilized.

On a side note, perhaps folks might consider adding their moniker to the comments they add so that we could delineate between contributors:--- mim 6:42 March 25-07

I don't see anything uncivilized about people leaving a community if the community doesn't fit his or her values, nor do I see anything uncivilized about discussing such issues when they arise. But, that's a different discussion :)

I personally don't see how adding "work in progres" to a page on a wiki is necessary, considering the point of a wiki is that it is always a work in progress. It's a bit impractical to add "work in progress" to every page on the wiki :) Once again I think the simplest thing to do if you have a question about a page is to use the talk page for the page, as that's what it is for.

I'm in favour of deleting the page Yay. I don't see what relevance a small child covered in goo has to Yay or deoxy.wiki. I don't know who added the images, but I would suggest they may be more appropriate on myspace or a blog. —merlyn 2007-04-13 03:06
